Kim Kennemer

KIM is a native Austinite, born and raised in Austin, TX. She attended St. Edward's University where she earned a degree in International Studies. She was also a 4-year letter winner on the volleyball team (Go Hilltoppers!). From there, she attended Western Governors University and earned an MS in Management and Leadership. 

After college, she pursued a certificate to teach special education, which once earned, she put to use for 15 years (8 of which were in England). While in England, she met her husband, Steven, and they like to say she brought him back as her souvenir. Upon returning to Austin, she stepped away from teaching and began program coordination and operations work both in the public and non-profit sectors. 

In her free time, she enjoys playing fetch with her Frenchie, Penny. She loves animals and dogs are her favorite. She and her husband travel whenever they can. Colorado, Spain, and England are their favorites!
